PTA Fundraiser
Get ready! Our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year kicks off Monday, August 24, and runs through Friday, September 4!
This year, we’re doing something NEW, our Kindness Fundraiser! Because at Rogers-Herr, IT’S COOL TO BE KIND!
Throughout the fundraiser, we’re challenging our Rams to spread kindness everywhere they go; at home, at school, and throughout our community. Small acts can make a BIG difference!

6th Grade Curriculum Night
We invite all 6th grade families to join us for Curriculum Night on Thursday, August 27, from 4:30-5:30.
Curriculum Night is a great opportunity to connect with your scholar’s teachers, learn more about grade-level curriculum and academic expectations, and discover ways you can support your scholar’s success throughout the school year.
We strongly encourage all 6th grade families to attend. Your partnership makes a difference, and together, we will continue providing our scholars with the support they need to learn, grow, and achieve at high levels.
Showcase of Clubs
Looking for a way for your scholar to get involved at Rogers-Herr? Join us for our Showcase of Clubs on Tuesday, September 1, from 5:30–6:30 PM! Families will have the opportunity to explore the many clubs offered at RHMS, meet club advisors, ask questions, and learn how to get involved. From academics and leadership to music, technology, culture, and more, there is something for everyone.

Athletic Update
Please note the following sport tryout/start dates:
Volleyball & Cross Country – August 24
Students can participate in athletics if they meet the following requirements:
Academic Requirements:
Must pass at least 5 out of 6 classes during the previous semester.
Must be making satisfactory academic progress toward meeting school and state requirements.
Attendance Requirements:
Must have at least 85% attendance during the previous semester.
All absences count, regardless of the reason (cannot be made up).
Must be present for a full school day to participate in practices or games.
Other Requirements:
Must have current physical uploaded through Dragonfly.

Effective Communication
Open and consistent communication between home and school is essential to every child’s success. If you have an immediate concern or question, we encourage you to reach out to your child’s teacher first, as they are the primary point of contact and best positioned to address classroom-related matters.
Should additional support be needed after speaking with the teacher, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s grade-level administrator. We are here to partner with you to ensure the best possible experience for your child.
