Rogers-Herr will be participating in the Battle of the Books again with the primary goals of reclaiming the title of District Champs AND having a good time!
The North Carolina Battle of the Books program is a fun, quiz bowl-style competition designed to encourage reading in middle school. Students will be exposed to quality literature representing a wide variety of reading levels, viewpoints, and literary styles. Its history can be traced back to a 1940s public radio program in Chicago.

Participants are expected to "discuss" the books you've read through our Battle of the Books wiki. You will also find a link to the official title and author pronunciation guide and some games to help you practice your titles and authors.
